From the London Courant. London, August 7. An old
gentleman, that has liv'd in part of six reigns, made the
following lines on plots and cabals soon after the
suppression of the late rebellion.
. . . [2 lines Latin]
As Colemans stood on brink of death,
He drop'd these words in dying breath--
No Trust in Man ! then what bold Scot,
What Welch or English knight would plot ?
. . . [33 lines]
[signed] A Protestant.
